Taken at the old abandoned village of Alassa in Cyprus. During building of the reservoir the village was moved up the hill. Due to the construction of the church it had to remain behind. As such it is flooded each year and cannot be seen apart from the cross at the top of the tower. This was taken in December when the water level was much lower. I wanted to show the ruins of the church but also the intact tower as well. This angle shows off both to good effect.
