While on mission shooting for Oxfam in Haiti, I came across this young girl living in a mangrove swamp-village by the sea outside Cap Haitian. Her friend didn’t want to be photgraphed but with this look of sheer confidence she said “yes” . We chatted in creole for a bit about her hotdog selling business and she said it was going well.
