This was undoubtedly my best opportunity to photograph birds. The wild birds were more than just accustomed to humans, seeing that it was a fairly frequented picnic spot at the national park. In fact, these Natal Spurfowl, also known as Natal Francolins, were quite insistent with their demands that they be fed too, once the initial wariness wore off. This one obligingly perched on his rock, allowing me to get close and take this shot.
