I know this photo appears to be B&W/selective color, but it is NOT! During a visit to Michigan State University in 2012 to attend a wedding, my wife and I walked over to one of the new residence halls. The dining facilities were set up in an informal “cafe” style. Looking down onto the main floor from the balcony I was struck by the layout and the modern style of the furniture. This particular area was decorated all in gray, with bright yellow tables, reproducing the hackneyed photographic effect of “selective color.” I couldn’t resist taking a few shots!
