While on a walk with my grandmother around Bay Point, we initially found ourselves the lone wanderers of this hidden section of the hotel’s small beach. After a few moments of silence however, the sound of dragging sand and ropes rubbing against bark caught my attention. In the distance a young woman sat in this hammock with her feet sticking out, rocking back and forth in step with the waves that gently crashed onto the shore. Perhaps, she thought she was alone too.
