purple flowers with green leaves

This is wild wisteria variety that is growing along a rail on the deck. I cut the plant back hard in the fall and this spring, the plant was positively covered with blooms! They aren't as showy as the cultivated varieties but I enjoy their fragrance and bright disposition.
