The island Ameland is one of the Dutch islands in the waddensea. It has the most beautiful sandy beaches of the Netherlands (and all of Europe for that matter). There is a great tidal wave variation and at some places there are some rocks. I wanted to experiment with long exposure during the daytime and this was a great object. By transferring it to black and white made it even a bit more dramatic in my view. Hope you like it.
