person taking photo of a bridge selective focus photography

This location was on my mind the whole 7 hour ride to New York. I wanted a clean shot, but when I got there the place was crowded with others like myself wanting a photo of this classic street in New York. I’m standing there in the cold for almost 30 minutes now I just say “screw it” and work with what I got. I tell my buddy to pull up his phone’s camera and take a photo of his screen to sum up the experience trying to get a clean photo of the bridge. There’s always going to be someone blocking your shot because they’re taking a photo with their phone.
