In rural Philippines, one of the main ways families earn their living is selling lato, popularly know in the anglosphere as sea grapes, that grow in intertidal zones, inaccessible at high tide but easily walkable in low tide. The warm pinkish glow of the Cebuano sunset serves as the backdrop of an important milestone in two young boys' lives. Their father is teaching them how to harvest this South-East Asian delicacy to sell to the town market. In a place where the luxury and comfort of the modern urban lifestyle is not common, these boys take their first steps into a life of hard and honest work.
