On a very cold, cloudy day, I was just enamored by the beauty of the mountain with its peak obscured by the clouds. The lake had frozen over just enough to reflect this incredible view. Lots of images of Kirkjufell exist, but most are shot from the same perspective, so I ventured out onto the lake to see just how close I could get and if there was a different way to display its beauty. I stood here for over an hour, in awe.
