I was taking portraits of a senior in college. She had various shoes and clothing items laid out in a shed we were shooting in. She left the clogs sitting on the floor in the dirt. The juxtaposition was stirring. I captured the shoes and the dirt. Something she loved among things that were tossed away and left behind- a bottle cap, some rocks from a fish tank.
