paints near candle

I hope this photo of an artist’s palette with oil paints in many colours will inspire artists to paint as much as possible. I like the dramatic and moody lighting in Caravaggio’s paintings, and I thought this might suit the subject matter. The candle is just to add some extra warm light, and to provide a vertical element and scale.
