Looking out from the John Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church in Waterford, Virginia. The church is an historic African American church built in 1891. Waterford, a Quaker village, sided with the Union during the Civil War. The village is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and hosts a popular crafts fair each October.
