Volcanos all around me

As I travelled through Central America, one of my destination was Antigua. Antigua, what means “Ancient Guatemala”, was one of the most beautiful cities in Guatemala or even in whole Central America. From Antigua you can start a two-days journey to the peak of the volcano acatenango. On the first day you’re hiking 6 hours through 4 different ecosystems. Finally you can set up your tents at the basecamp at 3700m. At 4:00 am the hike continous and one hour later you are at the 4000m high peak of acatenango and reward yourself with the most spectacular sunrise you’ll ever see.
