Perfect Seat for a Perfect Sunset

The challenge of any good photo is to tell a good story. It’s one thing to take a good photo of a beautiful California sunset, but it’s another to look at it differently to tell the story better. I was walking back to my car and I turned around and saw this guy watching the sunset. I was captured by the silhouette and the symmetry of the scene. The strong lines of the lifeguard tower set against the stunning gradient of the sky was incredible.
