Porte des Morts

The land surrounding Death’s Door provides stunning sunsets, but the strait hides a much darker past. Countless shipwrecks litter this passage linking Lake Michigan with Green Bay, Wisconsin. Death’s Door is among the most treacherous ship passages on the planet. I was fortunate to witness this scene in November, 2016 while vising the area with my son. I handed the camera to him, and this what he captured. Not too shabby for a seven year old.
