This is a shot I took from my time back in Slovakia, where my brother and I went on a backpacking trip for 10 days. The country is still somewhat unknown to the mainstream backpacking community and just in general mainstream tourism, so therefore the beauty of Slovakia is still very unknown as well. This is just one of many stunning views we had during our backpacking trip to the High Tatras for about 4 days out of the 10, and as an elderly Canadian couple put it so adequatly: the High Tatras feel and look like a smaller version of the Rockies, which in itself says enough about its epicness.
