Spent the morning staring down the sandstone cliffs into Lake Powell. This was the most barren and open space I have ever been in. No trees, barely any shrubs even…just flat and wide-open space into massive sandstone cliffs jutting up and falling away hundreds of feet. Maybe life on Mars does exist?
