This is the December 2017 super-moon when the moon is in perigee; the moon hasn’t been this close to Earth in 68 years and won’t be this close again for another 36 years! This picture was shot at 5 AM and there was a light fog so you can see a slight ring around the moon … truly a gorgeous sight!
