While walking through an art exhibition, I heard music from outside. It was this man playing typical Cuban music. I was on the second story of the building where the exhibition was and watched him play his music. After watching him for a while I went downstairs to see him up close, where I took this picture, which to me is the essential Cuban spirit. When I think Cuba, I see this man. I handed him some money, and although my Spanish is not thát good, his gratitude (and music) linger on in my mind.
