I took this photo of a man I met in El Salvador. He was showing me that they didn’t have access to clean water in this village that they lived in. He explained to me that they were getting by just fine with a well but that sometimes it broke and he would like to get something more consistent. He was grateful they had a well to drink from. I spent the whole afternoon with him and his family as they cooked me lunch and introduced me to everyone else in the small village.
