As we approach the Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge you will begin to see a small river in which you can follow into a shallow crack. You can continue deeper into the gorge as long as you’re prepared for climbing and waterproof equipment. Nearing the end of the gorge is a rope that allows you to climb on top if you are up for the challenge.
