This is Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice is a male bold jumping spider (Phidippus audax). Here, he is posing on the back of a dandelion. I was very happy with the amount of detail captured in this photograph - specifically the refelction in his eyes. Jumping spiders, and spiders in general, are really harmless and people should not fear them, but rather educate themselves on them and respect them. Relocate them rather than kill them.
