on a certain foggy morning, i used to have a ritual of kayaking what looking back seems like every morning, and this specific morning i got to my normal spot and it was so foggy you couldn’t see even to the most narrow side of the lake and i decided to venture anyway, and for terribly lost. I would say its the most alone I’ve ever felt. I’ve tried since to recreate this morning but nothing can quite compare to this certain foggy morning the i wasn’t going looking for anything.
