Beach Fog II

The weather was weird this Christmas in coastal Texas. It was a beautiful day just 10 miles inland, where I was visiting my family. We decided to go to the beach and take advantage of this. I kid you not, we hit a strange wall of fog just half a mile away from the beach, and this is what it looked like everywhere. We found out there was a fog advisory issued that day…I’ve never heard of a fog advisory before. Seeing the waves blend into white sky felt like occupying an unfinished world at its edge.
