Today, there is more than 400 horses roaming beneath the mountain Cincar on plateau Krug (engl. Circle). Locals call them Livno’s wild horses (Livanjski divlji konji), because they are surviving almost half of a century with minimum help of people through very harsh climate that consists of harsh winters with lots of snow, and very hot and dry summers. Either we called them wild or half-wild horses, they are a very unique sight and experience that is rare in Europe.
