This National Recreation Sign was in the middle of nowhere, marking the boundary and entrance into the Glen Canyon area. Kind of fun to stumble across this one and be reminded that the area is set aside to be preserved for future generations. Please treat such lands with respect and dignity. Leave no trace. Wild and rugged land, where phone service is nonexistent, stars fill the night sky, and the sounds of nature abound brings a value to our souls that cannot be found in the confines of mortal progress.
