This is a new hydrangea I added to the garden and it's supposed to flower all summer, The buds start out light lime green and as they open, turn blue and then purple! We had loads of rain in days prior and finally the sun came out so that I could capture the waxy nature of the buds. This flower clump was in the early stages of opening.
