The fern had only hung for about three days when I pulled it down to water it. There deep within the leaves was this tiny nest and six eggs just begging to be captured in photo. Not two days later, the nest had been ravaged and all the eggs were simply broken shells. Nature doesn’t always stay beautiful and kind.
