Tour d’arbre

I was driving home from hiking at idlers rest, and this singled out tree, just jumped out and yelled at me, I had to stop and take a photo. I jumped out of my car, camera in hand and walked towards this lonely tree and little did I know that there was a big ditch between me and the tree. The snow made it look like a nice flat plain but no, it was a deep crevasse of cold snow. Knee deep in snow I guessed that was my stopping point so I snapped a couple of shots where I stood. I was pretty happy with the result when I came home.
