Although the late summer fires that frequent the forests of Montana can limit us from enjoying the beautiful distant blue scenery, they bring a new perspective to the nature that’s closer to us. The ground beneath our feet, the leaves waving in front of our faces and the splash of water droplets on our toes. I captured the spider, working industrially to harvest her food from her web, oblivious to the circumstances around her.
