Driftwood after the storm

This is a piece of driftwood on the beach at Edisto not far from Myrtle Street. Normally, it’s surrounded by beach sand, but during the time we were there, there was an unusually high tide ( a king tide?) and the waves came up higher than normal onto the beach. It was cool.
