Aside from white balancing this photo, I didn't alter the natural colors. As part of my ongoing aerial series on the wild geology of the western United States, I give you this bird's eye photo of a network of geysers and hot springs at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. This alien landscape is about 8,000 feet above sea level and located off a side road about halfway between the Madison junction and Old Faithful.
