My wife, five days after right hemicolectomy surgery to remove part of her small intestine, her cecum, appendix, a large mass in her cecum (found during surgery), her ascending colon, and a piece of her transverse colon. She has severe Crohn’s disease and this was the best option after years of suffering, malnutrition, and disease.
