hatched gecko on foam

A couple of years ago I decided to get involved with breeding geckos to understand how their genetics worked (I then went on to create an online Leopard Gecko Genetics Calculator, called ReptiMate). One thing I wanted to capture was a gecko hatching, it took 16 eggs for me to finally be in the reptile room at the right time to see this little guy coming out of his egg. It took him about 10 minutes to get all the way out but he did and now lives a happy, healthy life with a friend :)
