I got a chance to go to Kargi, a remote town in eastern Kenya, home to the Rendille people, who even though are primarily a nomadic people, have some permanent settlements, this being one of them. Kargi is very visually vibrant. The women are covered in ornamental beads and colorful “shuka’s”(traditional robes), and gatherings are literally a sea of color.
