Submerged ruins of a prison in Estonia. This is a limestone quarry and a prison in a village called Rummu near Tallinn in Estonia. They used to extract limestone from the ground, hitting ground water reserves in the process. Water used to be pumped out of the quarrry, but in the early 90s they run out of funds (as Estonia was regaining it´s independence and econmy was faltering) and water took over the place. Today part of the quarry buildings have been submerged and collapsed.
