The Helsinki archipelago is made of hundreds of islands. One of them is Seurasaari, which means “Companion Island”. The small island is home to an open air museum, and features beautiful nature just by the capital city. It is often visited during summer, where locals barbecue and swing in the sea celebrating the long hours of Finnish summer. In winter the island is nearly empty, and the island may be your only company.
