99 percent of the photos from the John Day Fossil Beds are of the famous Painted Hills. Meanwhile, you've been missing out the remaining 99 percent of this beautiful National Monument in Central Oregon's high desert. I'm well traveled and few places I’ve been to have a similar amount of wild geology. Here's another photo of a part of the Painted Hills Unit that is often neglected.
