Another mystery photo of Foreign Legion soldiers in the desert that came in an envelope labeled “As marked - 1929”. The belief is an uncle / aunt raised in San Diego we’re doing a family road trip and took these photos in the Imperial Desert near California / Mexico border, but since neither one of them are no longer living I gotta go with what was giving to me. Nonetheless, I find the photos fascinating and how open our borders were at one time.
