Up at about 3:30AM in order to make some hot drinks and food - we were underway at about 4:30, enjoying the sun hitting our backs as we lugged ourselves up to the Bugaboo Snowpatch col. Just as we stepped away from the col, there it was; the best 5.4 rock climb in the world, the West Ridge of Pigeon Spire! Now we were psyched! The perfectly triangular mountain loomed above us, begging to be climbed - today would be a day that we would not soon forget.
