These aren’t roses, but the shapes and calming colors are really beautiful for me. It was taken on an afternoon as the sun was setting. The area in which the photo was taken has really beautiful sunsets, but the sun sets pretty quickly, so speed was essential. I took many photos, which didn’t display the correct composition, so I reviewed the memory that I wanted to capture with this image, and after some deep and careful thought, I snapped this image. It was a great afternoon with many successful photos to show for.
