Blue Tree Snake. The rare and localised blue form of the Green Tree Snake Dendrelaphis puctulatus. Normally both blue and yellow pigments result in a green or dark colour, but in this form the yellow is missing. This sometimes occurs with frogs as well. Photographed at the Cairns aquarium, but found naturally around Gordonvale south of Cairns.
