When you drive the auto trail up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, you get a bumper sticker that says “This Car Climbed Mt. Washington” - I always thought it was ridiculous until we did it ourselves. No guard rails, very steep, with places to “let your brakes cool” on the way down. But totally worth it.
