The road on the drive back from the mountains was curvy, which made it difficult to judge what was ahead at times. This made us ponder our own lives and the road each of us must take; what are we doing? Why are we doing it? For whom are we doing it? Where are we going? What happens next?… We do not know the answers; we lack the discernment, foresight, and patience at times. And yet, somehow we always end up in the next place that lay before us.
