Spectacular volcanic patterns emerge from the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean on the tiny aeolian island of Basiluzzo (close to Panarea) north of Sicily. This territory is geologically relevant being close to the Stromboli island and placed exactly between the Vesuvio and Aetna volcanoes. For us however it was mostly honeymoon back then, still eruptive though. Shot in 2009.
