As a rising film maker its very tough to get accepted into festivals and residencies. Competition is very tough and this year I finally got into Durban Film Festival. While I was sitting in one of the workshop rooms eagerly awaiting the start of our workshop I felt a bit like an alien among all the seasoned experts. This spiral/ spaceship like lighting system made me feel like I had been abducted into an awesome futuristic realm. Surrounded by beings of greater creativity.
