Eilean Donan Castle

This photo was a real chance encounter… We were staying in a caravan about 15 miles away from Eilean Donan and returned from a long day hiking the Cuillin mountains on Skye to discover we were out of water! The long drive back to Kyle of Lochalsh, and the only open shop for miles around, was the last thing we needed. At least we were treated to this spectacular sunset at Loch Duich along the way.
