We left the main photo spot of Horseshoe Bend to get away from the crowds and do some exploring. I felt less nervous on the edge here. There was no one around except us. Feeling small in nature comforts me. I marveled at the tiny specs below. Kayakers looked up at the giant canyon walls, while I looked down at their flowing river. This was one of those moments. Time stood still, the wind blew my hair and the heights took my breath away.
