My brother and I were wilderness camping (tent was 8 feet to the left of frame) on the bank of the Nantahala River in Western North Carolina on March 14, 2014 and woke to a very beautiful sunrise. I immediately grabbed my tripod and camera and scrambled onto the boulders in the stream where I took this photo. Having survived a very cold night without proper cold weather gear and no fire pit, this photo made up for all of the shivering during the night.
